Anti-Discrimination Policies
It is the policy of Middle Park Health to provide care for patients without discrimination, including, but not necessarily limited to, the following:
Patients will be treated and/or admitted and assigned to rooms without regard to race, color, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation, national origin or handicap.
Patients will not be asked if they desire or are willing to share a room with a patient of another denomination or race, thereby the transfer of a patient to another room shall not be interpreted as discrimination.
Employees, volunteers and medical staff will be assigned to patients regardless of race, color, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation or national origin.
All patients shall receive the same level of care based on their diagnosis, treatment needs, care planning and all other aspects of patient care.
Medical staff privileges will not be denied or removed from professionally qualified personnel on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin or handicap.
Training programs sponsored or carried on by the facility shall be without discrimination.
