Orthopaedic Surgery Services
In 2018, we initiated a total joint program that includes knee, hip, and shoulder replacements designed to restore patient mobility. Other available orthopaedic procedures at the MPH Specialty Clinic include:
- Resurfacing or repair of damaged cartilage
- Internal fixation for bone fracture
- Spinal fusion
- Osteotomy to treat bone conditions such as hammertoe, bunion, and arthritis
- Soft tissue repair for muscle, ligament, and tendon damage
- Release surgery to treat carpal tunnel syndrome

The MPH Specialty Clinic at Granby offers comprehensive care at one central facility. Granby provides our community with a one-stop-shop for imaging, labs, vaccines, rehabilitation, and even social services in addition to the surgery center. With access to such a diverse range of specialty services right in our community, you will receive the utmost continuity of care before, during, and after your surgery. Your MPH surgeon will work closely with your health care team to improve the health outcome of the recommended treatment.
Patients who visit our emergency department receive compassionate treatment and prompt care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In fact, MPH has received the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award the last three years, which honors exemplary patient experience in the hospital emergency department.
Our continued growth ensures that our community will have access to life-saving therapies and treatments. Our Granby location expanded in 2021 to include seven inpatient surgery rooms and a new clinic exceeding a total of 8,000 additional square feet. Within that same year, our Kremmling location became a 14,500-square-foot facility which features three new inpatient rooms, two trauma bays, and two emergency exam rooms. In September of 2020, the Middle Park Medical Foundation raised $22,000 for the hospital’s planned Oncology and Infusion Center, enhancing our ability to provide innovative cancer care. In April of 2024 Middle Park Health broke ground on a brand new 30,000 square-foot facility right on the border of Fraser and Winter Park. This facility opened the Emergency Department in June of 2025 further expanding the ability to service the entire Grand County community.
